Is the hair unprocessed?

We sell Virgin Brazilian bundles, closures and frontals, which are raw, unprocessed and free of any dye or chemicals.

Can Slay by Rae by dyed/colored?

Yes, the hair is dyeable. Be sure to have a licensed stylist dye your bundles.

How many bundles are needed?

We suggest for lengths 14-16" you need 2 bundles or more. Lengths 18-24" you need 3 bundles or more, and length 26 you will need 4 bundles or more. Unless you are purchasing a frontal or closure, in which less will be required.

What color does the Slay by Rae hair come?

Our hair comes a natural #1b color

What products should I use?

The hair is virgin and unprocessed so it is In it’s natural state. High quality products are recommended.

What products do I use for deep wave bundles?

We highly recommend Lotta Body Foaming Mousse. In which this product keeps your bundles moisturized and soft.

How should I protect my bundles at night?

It is important to protect your bundles with silk products, which will prevent drying of the hair. We recommend our Silk Bonnets.

How should I maintain my hair when first waking up?

We advise that you comb your hair every morning. Gently brush your hair from the ends up to the scalp. Combing ends up prevents breakage and is a good way to maintain longevity.

What type of brush and comb do I use?

It is recommend to use a wide tooth comb and a paddle brush. We recommend our brush, which will not pull or tangle your hair.

How long does Slay by Rae hair last?

With proper care and maintenance the hair can last up to years with a minimum of 6 months.

Are the bundles single or double weft?

Double weft.

Does the hair shed?

Initially it does not shed. With proper maintenance and moisturizing it will not shed. Over processing the hair, putting too much heat in it, and not protecting it at night will cause breakage and shedding. Our bundles are Virgin so they must be taken care of like we do our natural hair.

Does the hair tangle?

Initially it does not tangle with proper maintenance. It is important to brush through your bundles every day to prevent matting.

Can I straighten my bundles and revert them back?

Due to body wave being lose it will not revert back completely if it is straight. Deep wave will revert back to it’s original state if it isn’t over heated. It is recommended to wear your bundles then straighten them after your finished wearing the wave texture.
